congratulations
on getting
moved to a new
host! my isp
sucks, so i had
to go to
dnsstuff to
find the ip and
then put an
entry for
www.allsyntax.c
om into my
hosts file just
to get here . .
. after another
WEEK or so i
should be able
to delete that
line again.

thanks, they
seem pretty
good so far. I
got a year
worth of
hosting, so
we'll see how
it plays out.
wow, i cant
believe you had
to go thorugh
that trouble
just to get
here. Hopefully
it isnt that
hard for others
as well.

it's not so
bad really -- i
had to do the
same thing when
i switched the
animal shelter
website to a
new server so
i'm pretty
much used to
it. you
probably can't
do this since
you went over
bandwidth, but
i set up a page
at the old site
that went to
the free
subdomain i had
set up for
making sure
everything
worked before
switching the
real domain.
anyway i've
always heard
it's supposed
to take 2 days
for domain
changes to
propagate, but
for some reason
it takes at
least a week
for me. i'd
guess most
people would
see the
difference
faster.

Yea, im
completely
locked out
until next
month on that
hosting.
Luckily, before
it happened I
had a database
backup (and
files) that
were about 3
days old, so i
think I lost a
few members and
a couple posts,
but it looks
like things are
basically back
in order.
I cant even get
into FTP or
anything, they
suck. Godaddy
seems to be
pretty good so
far. I've
noticed the
hits pick back
up close to
where they use
to be. So
everyone must
be able to
access the site
fine now.
